USA Mortgage has become an entirely employee-owned business. This company returned 243 employee reviews and received a 4.61 star-rating.

Our most memorable WOW experience has to be from our annual company-wide Kickoff event this past February when we announced to everyone that we had become an employee-owned company. The excitement int he room when the big news was announced is something we will remember forever! We celebrated the occasion by giving everyone a new set of business cards that showed their new job title: ‘Owner’.

    As a Top Workplace, what niche/competitive edge leads to your success in taking care of your employees?

    Vonder Haar: This past January,  our owner transferred 100% of the Company’s stock into an ESOP making us an employee-owned company forever.  The ESOP has become a huge success for USA Mortgage. It gives our employees an amazing retirement benefit that not only will affect our family’s lives years from now, but the way each employee approaches every aspect of their work.  It has increased our sense of pride in being a part of the USA Mortgage family.

    How much does your online reputation matter for your workplace?

    Vonder Haar: Our online reputation matters greatly to us.  We want our customers to search for us online and see our valued reputation in the community so they know they can trust us with the biggest financial decision most of them will make in their lifetime.  We also know that potential future employees are going to search USA Mortgage online before committing to joining our team. We want to ensure that they can see that USA Mortgage is a great place to grow their career.

    What is your most memorable WOW employee satisfaction experience?
