Andrew Berman: As a top performer, what gives you that competitive edge?
Tim Prindle: You know, it’s really difficult to answer. It’s me and the one teammate that I have. We’re very dedicated, committed to what we do. I don’t have something I can WOW you with—we work hard, believe in what we do and care about people. That’s it.
Andrew Berman: How much does your online reputation matter?
Tim Prindle: It certainly does. I pay attention to these [SocialSurvey] surveys and I really get jazzed when I read some of these comments from these people. I know some of my co-workers laugh when clients go, ‘Oh, you’re a godsend.’ That was verbiage that was actually used in one of the write-ups—they make me feel incredibly good.
Andrew Berman: What is your most memorable WOW customer satisfaction experience?
Tim Prindle: I’ll try and keep it brief. Two deals: I didn’t make a dime off either one of them. These two young ladies actually fit what’s called a Direct Program with USDA and I could’ve engaged them in the Guaranteed Program. But in looking at their income, abilities, capabilities, levels, they’re a great fit for this particular program. And it allows qualified borrowers to potentially get into a much more expensive home than they might otherwise get into. So I helped facilitate getting them in contact with USDA Direct. Let go, however, I maintained a level of interest, and both ladies have since closed, they own phenomenal homes. And here again, they think that I walk on water because I didn’t take their loan, I saw something better for them. I didn’t get paid financially, but I got paid a gazillion times over in doing the right thing for people.
