Gina’s honest and truthful communication, establishes a respect between herself and her customers. Gina enjoys boating, cooking and baking (trying new healthy recipes), exercising, and gardening outside of work. She also spends a lot of time outside of her busy work life enjoying games, movies and hanging out with her family. She sees her position as wife and mother to be one of her greatest achievements. Gina raises her children to be polite and faith-filled, which truly reflects her own personality and, as her customer’s reviews point out, the way she conducts business. Although she had never seen herself going down the lending path, after a friends recommendation she found herself in the mortgage industry. And great success has followed.

We wanted to know Gina’s secret sauce to building valuable customer relationships. Here’s what she had to say:


Share with us your methods for getting clients and retaining your customers?

I am honest and truthful with my clients and they respect that. If they have friends needing a loan officer, they want them to have the same experience they had so they refer their friends to me.

Gina also tells us she checks on her customer’s loans from time to time in order to offer them the lowest rates possible. This says a lot about her priorities. It’s refreshing to see that she has the customer’s best interest at heart.

Is there anything else you would like to share with other loan originators?

Serve others as you would want to be served. Be the best version of yourself!

If you could time-travel: would you go to the past or the future? Why?

I would go back in the past to those special moments that I think about from time to time in my mind. I try to live one day at a time and leave the future up to God. I figure if he wanted us to know the future, he would have given us that capability.

The process of originating and closing loans is complicated. How are you able to make it easy and seamless for your clients?

I keep them informed on the loan process. I also make sure they know up front the steps of doing the loan and what is involved. Whenever they have questions, they know they can ask and I will find out the answer if I don’t know it.

 


This is not the first time that I have refinanced with this company and Gina Bayliss. Service was fantastic the first time and that is the reason I came back and I was not disappointed to do so. Great company and employees.
